Palm Beach Polo Unveils New
Season's Format
Saturday Evenings at 7:00 p.m.
January 29 - April 2, 2005
Wellington, Fl. - Every
Saturday, from January 29 through April 2, 2005, visitors will be able
to enjoy polo games in the comfort of complimentary stadium box seating
at Palm Beach Polo's Stadium on South Shore Boulevard in Wellington.
Starting promptly at 7:00 p.m., under lights, the teams will take to the
field to compete for coveted tournament trophies. Palm Beach Polo is
delighted that their all-new format will complement the palette of
high-goal polo on offer.
"Tommy Lee Jones' team,
San Saba, will play this season as well as the Jedi polo team with
10-goal players Marcos Heguy, Adolfo Cambiaso, and Lolo Castagnola.
International matches are also planned with England, Spain, India and
South America vs USA games already slated", says Calixto Garcia-Velez,
Director of Polo.
Visit the equestrian
events at the Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club during the day - the
National Horse Show and the world renowned Winter Equestrian Festival -
then come along to the Stadium to experience polo at its best - in this
unique evening time slot - entertainment for all the family! Spectators
will be able to enjoy the thrill of the games together with the chance
to meet the players and patrons in an informal setting. Dressage
competitions and grand prix jumping exhibitions will be an added bonus
as well as Argentine Asados and live music during the matches.
